Actually, seven. It's that time of even-numbered year, and I'm starting to chew on the propositions set to go on the February ballot. I have sympathy for the cause of Prop. 92, but wary of putting more constraints on the legislature. I'm leaning no on everything else. Any thoughts?
I always vote Yes on Prop. Joe, and I think he'll need all the help he can get this season.

I don't trust the whole system. Why is it that the state of California is asking me to approve or deny 7,000 slot machines for a certain San Diego Tribe?
What's to stop me from asking voters to approve 3,000 new PCs for my public workplace next time around?
Abuse of the proposition system combined with term limits in Sacramento both play a part in our current $14 billion budget deficit.
The status quo might not be great, but, frankly, I don't know enough to make really informed decisions on such minutiae.
